Plenty of inspection software charges more the busier you get.

Got your inspection report and it's longer than you expected? Before you panic, ask three questions about each finding:

1. Is it a safety issue? Those come first.
2. How hard is the repair, and who fixes it? Some items are a quick job for a handyman; others need a licensed specialist.
3. Is it common for a home this age? A lot of findings are normal wear.

Your inspector is the best person to ask. Some reports now answer part of it for you: inspectors who use Hive can add a short note under each defect on how common it is and how easy it usually is to repair.

Say the defect out loud. Hive finds the comment you already wrote.

Smart Add in 4 steps:
1. Describe what you see, the way you'd say it: "cracked concrete floor in the detached garage".
2. Hive searches your report's comments and shows up to three matches, each with a match score.
3. Pick one and your photos attach to it.
4. No good match? Hive drafts a new comment in your company's writing style and files it in the right section.
