There’s just something about Southern Maryland evenings after a long day on the lacrosse fields.

The whistles stop, the cleats come off, and the focus shifts from competition to recharging. After a full Saturday of tough games, hard-fought battles, and memories made, it’s time to slow things down and prepare for the week ahead.

Around here, balance matters. Work hard. Compete hard. Then take a moment to enjoy the water, the quiet, and the community that makes this place special.

As a coach, I couldn’t be more proud of this group and everything they accomplished together. Congratulations to St. Mary’s Youth Lacrosse Club on bringing home the 8U, 12U, and 14U Division Championships.

The trophies are great, but the real win is the growth, teamwork, toughness, and commitment these players showed all season long. Keep working, stay humble, support your teammates, and continue raising the standard every day.

Thank you to all the families, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this season special.

This is only the beginning.
