A great day getting to know another one of the many recreational opportunities we have right here in St. Mary’s County!

Thank you to Visit St. Mary's MD for the opportunity to be part of the St. Mary’s County Tourism Ambassador Program and for today’s tour of Greenwell State Park.

I really enjoyed learning more about the park and hearing directly from the Greenwell Foundation about the work they are doing in our community.

Greenwell State Park sits along the Patuxent River in Hollywood and offers nearly 600 acres to explore, with miles of trails, waterfront access, beaches, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and picnic areas.

The Greenwell Foundation also offers an impressive variety of programs within the park, including:
• Horseback riding lessons and trail rides
• Adaptive equestrian programs and Horse Connection
• Guided kayaking and paddles
• Guided hikes and nature programs
• Field trips and environmental education
• Horse, fishing, nature, horsemanship, and river summer camps
• Recreational wellness programs for veterans and first responders, many offered at no cost to participants

It was an amazing opportunity to learn more about this partnership and everything available right here in St. Mary’s County. If the weather holds, I’m looking forward to launching my own kayak this weekend and exploring some of the Patuxent!

I’m always happy for my clients when they purchase a new home, but this one was especially rewarding.

Buying a home in today’s market is not always easy. We lost out on two previous properties in competitive situations, but my clients stayed patient and trusted the process. That patience paid off. We were able to get 46112 Slye Way under contract, put together a deal that worked well for both sides, and even create some additional equity for my clients in the process.

I’m especially happy to welcome this freshly retired Navy veteran and his family to their new home here in Southern Maryland. After a career of service, he and his wife are closing one chapter and starting another with their four children.

Another successful milestone!

My clients' home is officially under contract just days before their big move out of state.

Three years ago, I had the privilege of helping them purchase this home, and now I'm honored they trusted me again to help them sell it.

Some transactions are easy. Others test everyone involved.

This home first hit the market in January. It went under contract three different times before finally making it to the closing table.

The first contract fell through because the Buyer's financing didn't come together. The second uncovered lending and condo requirements that weren't identified until weeks into escrow.

On top of that, the condo association changed management during the listing, creating even more challenges.

Every setback meant finding solutions, keeping the transaction moving, and making sure my clients always knew exactly what was happening.

Today, we can finally say this one is SOLD.

I'm incredibly happy for my clients and grateful they trusted me through every twist and turn. Transactions don't always go according to plan, but staying persistent, communicating honestly, and never giving up makes all the difference.
