Bass Pro Shops is coming to Paducah! A new 70,000-square-foot destination retail store will be built at 3470 James Sanders Boulevard, near Kentucky Oaks Mall with visibility from I-24. The project will sit on approximately 8 acres and feature Bass Pro’s signature design—combining shopping, entertainment, outdoor education, and conservation. Site prep is already underway, with an anticipated opening in late 2026 or early 2027.

Mayor George Bray called the announcement “an exciting milestone” for Paducah, highlighting the store as a future gathering place for families, outdoor enthusiasts, and visitors from across the region and beyond.

Founded in 1972, Bass Pro Shops operates 180 locations across North America. Paducah will soon be home to one of them!
