I started out as just a home inspector. Walk the house, write the report, move on. But over the years, I realized that’s not what clients actually need.
Today, my role is much bigger:

🔍 Problem Identifier
💰 Cost Predictor
🤝 Deal Helper

I don’t just point things out ~ I help you understand what matters, what it might cost, and how it can impact your deal or future plans.
Whether you’re buying, selling, or investing, the goal is simple:
Give you clarity, confidence, and real-world insight ~ not just a checklist.
That’s the difference experience makes.
~Cheers~

Tip of the month~Clean Gutters & Maintain Proper Attic Ventilation

Ice dams are a big issue here~especially on homes with complex rooflines. Clogged gutters trap water, which freezes and pushes under shingles, causing leaks that often go unnoticed until spring.
Homeowner Action:

Clean all gutters and downspouts before it gets cold.
Confirm downspouts discharge away from the foundation.
Check attic vents to ensure they’re not blocked by insulation or debris.
Good ventilation and properly flowing gutters reduce the risk of ice dams, mold, roof damage, and heat loss.

🔥 Hot Attic, Higher Bills? Read This.

It’s been scorching in NY lately, and I keep seeing homes with powered attic fans trying to beat the heat. But here’s something most folks don’t realize:
If your attic isn’t sealed tight from the house below, those fans might be sucking your air-conditioned air right out of your living space. That means your AC works harder, your energy bills go up, and your house still feels hot.
Even worse? They can pull dangerous gases back into the home from things like water heaters or furnaces.

Want real comfort and efficiency? Focus on:
✅ Proper soffit + ridge venting
✅ Air sealing the attic floor
✅ Good insulation
Sometimes “more power” isn’t the answer — smarter design is.
