I voted for my favorite quilt today at the Council Quilt Show! I love the colors in Nancy Evans' quilt, "Lipstick". I am one of many sponsors of the show - it is wonderful to see the new and heirloom quilts on display along with a nice selection of fabric scraps, small quilts, some vintage items, cute t-shirts, patterns and books for sale. The quilt show is going on everyday through July 5 from 10-5pm in the multipurpose room at Council Elementary School - these ladies work hard every year to make it happen- events like this are what make living in a small town really special!
