arolina. I also served 8 years in the world's greatest Navy. During my time in the military, I served as a Gas Turbine Systems Tech. The scope of my responsibilities included the inspection, maintenance and operation of shipboard gas turbine engines as well as the inspection, maintenance and operation of the associated fuel and l**e oil systems. As a homeowner, there are a few things around the house it's a good idea to take a look at from time to time. Electrical components not being the least of which (ONLY WITH YOUR EYES). Leave the hands on stuff to a licensed electrician. Let them take the volts. Strain relief connectors should be used on wiring where it enters a breaker box. This helps keep the wiring safe from chaffing on the exposed metal edge of the box and helps keep the connection from being pulled loose. And in the case of an exterior panel, they will also help keep out unwanted "guests".. Stay safe out there and give us a call.

Does your toilet have a little wobble when you sit down? Just because you don't see any water on your bathroom floor, doesn't mean that all of the water/waste is getting where it's supposed to go. Even a small leak, given enough time can create a big problem. Glad we could help our client out with identifying this before it became a more serious issue.

At first glance you would think there is nothing wrong with this picture. Just a clean, new looking water heater. But TPR valves should discharge within 6 inches of a floor or drain pan. Most people will never see one of these valves pop, but if it does, you DO NOT want them discharging on or near your body. A simple fix that can literally save your skin.
