Two year old house with loose siding improperly installed by the builder. They nailed the upper course through the weep holes. I call this out on almost every new build and this is why. Mungo homes, mcguinn homes, pulte homes, and so on. This is not allowed by the manufacturer, so therefore is a building code violation. I hope the builders will do better, building code is the minimum standard, and this is below that. Y’all pay a lot for these homes and they should be built correctly. Let’s do better builder’s, all you have to do is check your work and hold the sub contractors accountable. Builders you are still responsible for this regardless of passing the building inspector.

This is the second bullet I found in a roof this year. .32 cal handgun went straight down with no angle to pe*******on only a foot and a half from the edge. I’m so glad no one was hurt. Please don’t shoot into the air.

I seem to find a bullet in a roof once a year, never in slate though. I believe it’s AK47 type due to its steel content....

No wonder so many people have suffered from mesothelioma. This house was built in 1956, the original heat system is lined with asbestos that is directly in contact with forced air on all sides of the heat exchanger. Luckily this unit was abandoned several decades ago. Unfortunately we didn’t know any better back then.
