As hard as it was to say goodbye to Maui, it was nice to come home and be greeted by This big fluffy guy. He’s a good boy!

Amber Adams and I usually travel in September. Her birthday is September 13, our wedding anniversary is September 26, and my birthday is in October—so our annual trip serves as one big celebration!

This year, we went to Maui, and it was absolutely beautiful! We swam, hiked, drove the coastline, visited the Maui Ocean Center and Turtle Beach, rented e-bikes, went to a luau, shopped, traveled the Road to Hāna, got tattoos and experienced so much more—way too much to fit into one post!

I’m truly blessed to celebrate another year of life, love, and adventure with my incredible wife, Amber. I couldn’t imagine sharing this journey with anyone else.

Maui, you were unforgettable! I can’t wait to see what next year’s adventure brings. 🌴🌺❤️

Amber Adams and I started our day with lunch at Dona Mari Cocinita in South Sacramento! The Strawberry Agua Fresca was delicious and my Carne Asada Burrito Supreme was one of the best I’ve ever had! Amber loved her Quesabirria tacos!

Next we headed over to, in my opinion, one of the best record stores in Sacramento, Phono Select Records . The staff is amazing, selection is killer and the records are perfectly organized.

Wrapped up the night with a stroll with Obi at the Dog park and relaxed and had some laughs with a great goofball comedy, Hot Tub Time Machine!
