Had an amazing Sunday with Amber and our good friends Paul and Margaret! We cruised down to downtown Sacramento to catch Back to the Future: The Musical, then wrapped up the night with dinner at Cafeteria 15L and dessert at Rick’s Dessert Diner. Great food, great company, and an all around unforgettable day!

Is there anyone cooler than the Man in Black, Johnny Cash? He was my gateway into country music, and what he created later in his career with Rick Rubin is on another level—timeless, raw, unmatched.

Every time I pass this mural in downtown Sacramento, I tell myself I need to stop and grab a photo. Finally got it done…

I have the pleasure of being greeted most mornings by my boy Obi! I like to think it’s because I’m his favorite person but I know it’s really just his subtle way of letting me know he wants his morning walk.

I’m good with that. Totally worth it!

Caught for the third time at Laughs Unlimited in Old Sacramento—and once again, he did NOT disappoint. The man is absolutely hilarious. I honestly think he’s one of the best stand-up comedians out there right now.
