But you don't need a bigger home — you need staged storage!
Before listing, try this:
**Remove 50% of closet contents (yes, really!). Pack up seasonal clothing.
**Organize what remains neatly. Fold everything neatly.
**Clear out garages, basements and closets. Buyers will check these spaces too!
**Simplify countertop displays. Try to limit appliances to one item.

When closets look spacious, buyers perceive the ENTIRE home as larger. It's psychology — and it works!

GFCI Outlet Safety Tip- A quick home maintenance check
Here's one check-up that most homeowners skip: testing your GFCI outlets! GFCI outlets are those with the little Test and Reset buttons — usually in bathrooms, kitchens, and garages.
They protect you from electrical shock near water, but they can fail silently. Here's a quick test:
Press the Test button — the outlet should go dead.
Press Reset — power should return.
Plugging a lamp in while doing this test is another easy way to tell if the outlet is operating correctly. If it doesn't reset or has no response, call an electrician. This shows up on almost every home inspection report. Catch it now before a buyer does!
