If you were to ask me what is the one thing that characterizes all my years of experience as a professional, I’d say that it is my dedication to my clients, putting their needs above everything else. I am ever so aware that to my clients, their home is not just an asset. Their home is the place where dreams are made and memories live. Therefore, I take my role as “Realtor” or as “Loan Officer” ver
y seriously, tailoring my services and expertise their specific needs. After graduating from the University of Santa Clara, I started in mortgage lending in 1986. I gained experience with many types of loan transactions interacting with many different types of lenders - major banks, wholesale lenders, private capital firms - fulfilling specific financial needs with specific loan programs at very competitive rates. In 1993 I obtained my Real Estate Broker’s license issued by the State of California and founded InterBanc Real Estate Services in 1994. I have built a productive network of professionals including Realtors, Bankers, Direct Lenders, Appraisers and Escrow Officers. Since 2007, I have expanded my services to include representing buyers and sellers as their real estate broker. I get great satisfaction when I complete a transaction that fulfills a client’s needs. For example, I helped Daniel, who works for Facebook, his wife Ashley, who had recently relocated to the Bay Area to buy their home. This is what Daniel said about his experience: “We knew it’s a sellers’ market here and we were nervous about the whole process of buying in this market. We then found Mary Beth and she turned out to be the perfect agent we were looking for! She got our very first offer accepted in a competitive situation where there were 5 other offers! The fact that we relocated from abroad meant that the process of closing the purchase was not straightforward. Mary Beth helped us navigate through the entire process and used her expertise and her extensive network of professionals to get us through to closing the transaction. Not only did she get the offer presented and successfully accepted, it was at a price $50,000 below the appraised value!! We are now moving in and we couldn’t have done this without Mary Beth! We wholeheartedly recommend Mary Beth to be your agent in your next transaction!”
Another satisfied buyer, Bindu, a medical doctor, wrote this about her home buying experience: “I recommend Mary Beth Huey as a real estate agent without hesitation and with great enthusiasm. Capable, caring, knowledgeable, efficient Mary Beth has your interest in mind and is has an excellent understanding of market conditions. She made my recent purchase of a condominium in the East Bay an enjoyable experience and I will utilize her services in any future real estate transaction that I undertake. You will be lucky to avail of her expertise.”
It is happy and satisfied clients like these that make my profession a rewarding one.
