Leadership Campbellsville | Class of 2025-2026
Over the last year, I have had the privilege to be part of this year’s class for the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Campbellsville Program. This program is designed to prepare promising leaders for positions of responsibility by acquainting them with significant community processes and pressing issues. Beyond that, this program taught me several things not only about what it takes to be a leader, but who it takes.
If you were to be asked what Campbellsville is known for, you might say Green River Lake, Campbellsville University, or even a place with recent attention in rural economic development. To me, Campbellsville is more than just a place, it is home. To be able to witness first-hand how our community helps one another and the services that each industry provides to people on a local, national, and even global scale is exceptionally impressive.
My biggest takeaway that I keep coming back to is the fact that no matter how long you have lived in or how much you think you know about your community, there is always more to learn. I firmly believe that life is a continuous learning experience, and I hope that we never stop learning!
Our community is filled with incredible hard-working leaders, and thanks to this program, I now know more this place I like to call “home.” Thank you Campbellsville Taylor County Chamber of Commerce for investing into the community with the Leadership Campbellsville program. Thank you to The REATH Center for allowing us to pick your wonderful non-profit to fundraiser for. Lastly, thank you Rhonda Smith Realty for sponsoring me for this program that has helped me become a more well-rounded and better-informed business professional.
If you are interested or even slightly considering this program, I highly encourage you to apply. It will be something you will not regret!
