🏡 What does “Coming Home” mean to us?

At Coming Home Group, real estate has always been about more than buying and selling property. It’s about people, relationships, community, and helping someone through an important season of life.

Our team brings together a wide range of experience, specialties, and backgrounds, but we share a common approach: listen first, serve with kindness, provide the knowledge our clients need, and help make the process feel a little less overwhelming.

We’re also proud to be part of the community we serve. We believe in supporting our neighbors, connecting people with local resources, working alongside other businesses, and celebrating everything that makes this area such a special place to call home.

Because to us, a closing isn’t simply a transaction. It represents a new beginning, a new chapter, or sometimes the end of a very meaningful one. ❤️

That’s what Coming Home Group is all about.

Happy Retirement, Kurt! 💙

After 47 years of serving Cañon City, Fremont County, and generations of local families, Kurt Zerby is officially closing the real estate chapter of his story.
And what a chapter it has been.

Over nearly five decades, Kurt built far more than a successful real estate business. He built friendships, earned the trust of his community, and helped countless families through some of the biggest moments of their lives.

While we’re honored to carry his real estate legacy forward here at Coming Home Group, today is really about celebrating Kurt and everything he has given to this community. Retirement won’t exactly mean slowing down, either! Kurt is looking forward to focusing on his Christian writing and Bible teaching, spending more time at home with his wife (and helping with the gardening!), and hopefully finding plenty of time for the golf course. His first book, disGRACEful, is already complete, with more projects underway.

Kurt, thank you for decades of service, friendship, leadership, and commitment to this community. We’re grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us, but even more grateful for the legacy you leave behind.

Here’s to a well-earned retirement and an exciting next chapter. Congratulations, Kurt! You will always have friends at Coming Home Group.
