The incredible precision behind Cedar Point's Millennium Force required surveyors to work at dizzying heights, calculating exact angles and elevations to create the perfect thrill ride. This $25 million engineering marvel reaches 93 mph and covers 6,595 feet of track - that's over a mile of precisely positioned steel!

The 80-degree first drop alone required exact angle calculations for the perfect thrill-to-safety ratio. Surveyors had to account for Lake Erie's wind patterns affecting the massive structure, and work within Cedar Point's narrow peninsula where every inch of space matters.

Every twist, turn, and drop was precisely mapped before the first piece of steel was installed - because when you're creating the world's first "giga coaster" (over 300 feet), there's no room for error!
