🎄 City of Canton Tree Lighting & Drone Show – Know Before You Go 🎄
Event Start: 6:30 PM sharp
Drone Show: Launch at 6:45 PM, and will last 15 minutes
The tree lighting countdown is part of the Drone show. Lighting at 7pm
🚧 Road Closures
Main Street (Academy → Marietta): Closed 6:30–7:05 PM
Church & Archer: Closed until 7:05 PM
Archer Street (Academy → Marietta): Closed 6:30–7:05 PM
🅿️ Parking Closures
Jones Lot: Closed all Wednesday
Water Authority Lot: Vehicles must be out by 5:30 PM
Brown Park: Closed to public starting at Noon
🏛️ City Hall / Parking Deck
Parking allowed until 6:00 PM
Side entrance closes at 6:00 PM, reopens 7:05 PM
No vehicle access 6:30–7:10 PM. Use alternate lots (e.g., Academy & Main behind Panera)
🚫 Additional Restrictions
Same 6:30–7:10 PM access denial applies to History Cherokee Museum lot, Church Street near The Salty Mule, and Church Street next to Brown Park.
Essential Rule: No walking or vehicles under the drone canopy.
✨ Please follow these safety rules as set by the Drone company — it is non-negotiable.
