Lee County built more homes in 2023 than any county in Florida, according to a new report from the University of Florida. Of the 138,717 single-family homes built that year, 10,702 were in Lee County. For new condo construction, Collier County was 2nd, Lee County was 3rd, and Charlotte County was 4th. Simply put, Southwest Florida is booming.

HEADS UP! If you're noticing a lot of brown trees across Florida, that's not Fall Foliage. Hurricane Milton caused a lot of local trees to be "in shock"...battered by strong wind or submerged in salt water from storm surge. That stress causes the leaves to fall or turn brown. Some of them are going to end up dying, but a lot of them will not. Before you attempt to cut them down, give them some time, water, sunlight and a fighting chance to survive. 🍂🌳
