🏡 Sometimes it's the little things that can turn into big problems.

During a recent home check, we discovered a dehumidifier draining into a bathtub that was plugged. The curtain was pulled closed but on our routine visit we check everything. The dehumidifier had been placed in the bathroom by a maintenance person after an upstairs neighbor experienced a water leak that seeped into the unit below. While the dehumidifier was doing its job removing moisture, the clogged drain meant the water had nowhere to go.

Left unnoticed, this situation could have led to additional water damage, excess moisture, and costly repairs.

With the rainy season upon us, it is very important that someone is watching your home while you are away. This was found on the ceiling in one of our clients homes. Luckily, we were able to get someone out there to begin working on a solution and minimize the damage to their home. This could have been a disaster if it was not found before they came back in November. Not only would there be damage to the ceiling, but there was carpeting in this bedroom.
