Lots of Buyers are in my mind lately.
Unfortunately the media has done a great job in scaring them away. By saying the prices are expected to drop, didn't they said the same thing for last four years?.
Well my take is building materials are more available, renting cost is getting higher, low inventory are all time high, a moving not so great economy. The media keeps saying the dier economy they have been saying for the longest time. The actual economy that is bringing lots of investors into the game it has created the confidence builders needed to put more permits in.
The demand is high so prices will compete with builders to catch the buyers with incentives and also leave behind the old selling houses that are not gaining track because more new houses offer more for same or even less. You do your math and ask if it is worth paying more for rent. The government wants to slow down the economy by raising interest rates. with high interest rates and creating havoc by borrowing lots of money that need to print them causing this nasty shadow of weak economy and by hitting the landlord with higher taxes and restrictions, as we saw with the Pandemic with free rent for the people that didn't want to be responsible abusing of the landlord and taking advantage of them. Well now the table has turned, like people never thought it would. Now the landlord are forced to raise the rent as much as they lost when the pandemic hit.
fAnd now are orcing the renter to buy a house because the rent are getting higher. Did you know that the cost of a rent today equals the same payment on a new built house at list the payment of Principal and Interest. a new builder may even give the buyer some money back. You can't get that from a resell house. Ask a home owner if they are willing to give up $25,000 to any qualified buyer. I have two new built house that can give you that much. Any questions call me.
