Today is ! 🍕 Even though cardboard is recyclable, pizza boxes are often non-recyclable due to the grease contaminating the material.

What can you do instead? Contaminated pizza boxes should be placed in the trash. If the top of the box is clean, you may tear it off and place the clean cardboard in the recycle cart.
