It's been absolutely gorgeous out since the last Hurricane Milton passed. If you live in any tropical place, you have a chance of these storms coming through. What do people do on those little islands? I suppose they just wait it out with nowhere to evacuate to. Some states have earthquakes, wildfires, mud slides, avalanches, or tornadoes often. There's always something, somewhere. I will take all the good that Florida has to offer with the exception of an occasional hurricane. The media has to sensationalize everything to keep people safe and give them the option to evacuate. We take that very seriously here and it's always a gamble to stay or leave. It's no joke! This season will be my 3rd winter here. I only had to hunker down for Milton since I moved here in November of 2022. I totally give God the credit for my safety no matter where I am in the world. I don't know what the future holds as far as weather, but I will always carefully decide what is the best safety measure for myself and my beloved pets. Overall, I have no regrets about moving to this beautiful state and I love the weather year-round.
