One of the most special experiences we had on Mykonos was a private cooking class held right in someone’s home. Elena, our instructor, taught us (and a lovely couple from England) how to make traditional dishes like spinach pie, tzatziki, and gemista (stuffed tomatoes). After cooking (and plenty of sampling 🍷), the owner of the home came out to join us. Over glasses of wine, she shared stories and history of the house, making the whole experience feel like we were part of the family for the evening. Such a fun and authentic way to connect with Greek culture 🇬🇷

After a few bumps and bruises (to body and ego)…yessss I dumped it and yes I’m ok…we made it through our ride! Can’t thank this crew enough for riding with me in the New England Parkinson’s ride on Saturday and for raising money to help fund a cure!
