Closing Day! 🎉🏡

Today was a special one. I've known Karissa and her family for a long time, so being able to help Karissa and Noah sell their first home and purchase their next one was truly an honor.

Because of all the care, updates, and improvements they put into their home over the years, we were able to get it under contract in record time and make the transition to their new home a smooth one.

A big thank you to Andrew Williams with Alliance Bank for being great to work with and helping keep everything moving smoothly throughout the process.

I'd also like to thank Reliable Community Title and United Land Title for doing a great job handling both transactions and helping make for a seamless closing day.

Finally got around to making the first cutting on my clover and chicory food plots today. I've been wanting to get this plot mowed for about a month, but finding the right weather window can be a challenge this time of year.

One thing I always try to do is time my clover mowings right before a rain, especially during the summer months. Freshly mowed clover responds incredibly well to moisture, and getting a rain shortly after cutting helps prevent stress and keeps the plot thriving instead of burning up in the heat.

Thankfully, Mother Nature cooperated and rewarded us with a much-needed rain shortly after finishing up. With more rain in the forecast over the next few weeks, I'm looking forward to seeing this plot bounce back and put on some fresh growth.

One of my favorite things about our Bollinger County recreational tract is the spring fed creek that runs through the property year round.

Having a dependable water source is a huge advantage for us. Since we don't have a traditional water source nearby, we use this clean creek water when maintaining our food plots with herbicides and liquid fertilizers. It's one of those features that adds both enjoyment and practical value to the property.

Out checking the food plots this evening and everything is coming along great.

We’ve got a great stand of corn, soybeans getting browsed heavily already, and clover looking solid. Lots of wildlife activity and it’s always rewarding seeing the work start paying off this time of year. 🌽🦌

This is one of the reasons I enjoy land and real estate so much. There’s just something different about having your own place to work on, improve, and enjoy year after year. Whether it’s for hunting, farming, building, or just getting outdoors, land is something you can really make your own.
