We are reeling from the news yesterday that our dear friend, Walt William unexpectedly passed the day before. We were just with him & Carol at the SC pier concert & in Mammoth less than a month ago. Walt was the sweetest teddy bear. Kind, fun & smart. We had lots of good times. We will miss the MV Diablo football games & Mammoth without you! We love ❤️ you & know you are in a better place but the world will be a little dimmer without you & we will miss you!

I asked my plastic surgeon (dermatology) at Kaiser what he “mostly does.” Ya know, his business? His reply: “a lot of what I do now is transgender patients. You know, now that these types of treatments have been approved.” Me with no facial expression response of horror & straight face, “in general, how old are the patients you see?” Him: “18-25. A handful outside of that age range.” Me: “how many of those patients do you see a week?” Him: “2 a week.”

I didn’t get into it with him about, wow, so you’re cutting off PERFECTLY HEALTHY breast (& other) tissue of young people WHO DONT EVEN KNOW WHO THEY ARE YET or have their $h!t together!? I mean, did you even know who you were between 18-25!? The direction you were going in?!! THIS is who & what is approved now in insurance. Meanwhile, my friend who has cancer can’t get the alternative medicine she wants approved…. Can you tell me what’s wrong with this picture? We’ve gone verrry far astray…
