I had to take a minute this morning to appreciate my 15 minute commute to Los Gatos. Over the past few months I’ve done a lot of Bay Area driving, and I have to say… I don’t miss 9001 cars bumper to bumper fighting for first place. On top of that, how do you beat having this view as I drive a ridge top road with minimal traffic.

This transaction was truly special. I had the pleasure of working with this wonderful family for three years, I watched there son go from car carrier to walking. Throughout our journey, there were houses they wanted that I advised against, and vice versa. But standing in the living room of 14136 Long Ridge, watching the sunset together, we all agreed—the wait was absolutely worth it.

This home has a rich history, having been a producing orchard for 100 years before being converted into a Buddhist retreat. Our path through escrow had its trials and tribulations, but we successfully negotiated an amicable exit for the sellers and ensured a smooth transition for this sweet family.

Full review:

You haven't met an excellent realtor until you worked with Thomas. We met him by chance at an open house. He was really friendly and very easy to talk to. He told us facts about the home & neighborhood that we didn't know and was straight forward with his answers - no nonsense to his replies, and he addressed concerns before we even asked them. That's why a few days later, we decided to employ him as our realtor when he followed up on our visit experience. The home had some issues that we were worried about, but Tom methodically researched those details and assuaged our concerns. He is very knowledgeable about mountain homes, especially in Santa Cruz/ Los Gatos area. He is very experienced about the permits process for repairs & upgrades, and knows many repairmen & contractors (but they are pricey). That's just the icing on the cake, the best part is when you really need him, he completely follows through. There was an error on the title report for our home, and the 2 title companies involved were dragging their feet for over a week. When our contingency deadline was coming up, I complained to Tom and he got involved & got the title company to fix the error. It was not his error or responsibility, but he always solved what's needed! Same thing when a tree removal company forgot to come to the scheduled appt. We needed the infested tree removed for fumigation, and when the company didn't arrive as scheduled, he made sure they came ASAP and finish on time!
So we bought our home thanks to Tom's assistance & hard work! He worked relentlessly and very thoroughly. You will be hard pressed to find someone more dedicated. Tom is very flexible in where & how he works. He will do his best to accommodate your schedule, quirks, and needs.

340 Lenore Way is SOLD!

5k over asking and only 8 days on market. This was definitely a challenging transaction. The market in the mountains has not been great, with rising rates and insurance issues people have been shying away. 4 other houses were listed within a stones throw away as soon as we hit the market, with so much inventory sitting my seller and I were a little nervous.

We got it done though 🤙
