The Cottage is booking up. Are you missing sunrises like these? Do you love the idea of your choice of a bunch of day hikes close by, or is a fishing trip or whitewater rafting trip on your summer bucket list? We are located in Caratunk, Maine, next to the Appalachian Trail river crossing at the Kennebec River's edge, and we love hosting people in our guest cottage, a Maine Cabin Masters project.

The Appalachian Trail Kennebec River crossing is about 100 yards/meters upstream from our lawn. 1/2 mile south on the trail is a nice little waterfall and pool in the stream that runs along the trail for about 3 miles. A few Adventure Bound rafting guides canoed across from our lawn yesterday evening to explore the stream and waterfall. I love seeing guests and local seasonal friends taking advantage of all our area has to offer.
