ent, Brian became a teaching tennis professional at Ridglea Country Club in Ft. Brian moved to Aspen and became a tennis professional at the Maroon Creek Club where he met Gerald Hines, the developer of River Valley Ranch. Through his relationship with Gerald Hines, Brian became a member of the River Valley Ranch sales team. In 2005 Brian acquired from Hines and became the broker/owner of Destination Holdings Real Estate and Property Management at River Valley Ranch. In 2019 he made the decision to join with the valley's market share leader, Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty, in order to better service his clients with a broader international reach. Brian’s office is in the historic Old Thompson Barn on the 18th green at River Valley Ranch where you might have seen him at some of the local fundraisers and weddings. Brian has served on numerous committees with the Aspen Board of Realtors® and has held various board positions on its Board of Directors including President in 2009 and Realtor of the Year in 2010. He also served the real estate community on the state level as a Director for the Colorado Association of Realtors from 2005-2010. In 2003 he received his Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) Designation and his Certified Real Estate Broker Manager (CRB) Designation and Resort and Second Property Specialist (RSPS) in 2009. He has served his local community as a caring board member of several non-profits including Valley View Hospital Board of Trustees, and focused on supporting the local schools. Brian spends his free time skiing, swimming, playing tennis and golf. He has two children, Dillon graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder and Morgan who attends the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. When not visiting his children, his family enjoys traveling to Cabo San Lucas. Brian lives in River Valley Ranch with his wife Janis.
