Located in north coastal San Diego, the Cardiff Beach House is truly the perfect location. It’s close to Del Mar, the Del Mar Racetrack, Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, UCSD, the gliderport, high-end golf courses, shopping, La Jolla, dining, Legoland, the zoo. Plus++++

Note: Kitchen, living and dining area is on the 2nd floor to maximize views. There is a flight of stairs (in 2 sections) that total 18 stairs. My 81 year old disabled mother was able to use the stairs- but might be an issue for others. Likewise, the house is not fully baby proofed. We would, however, consider adding a baby gate and protectors for electric sockets if requested. Although the beach is only 500' as the bird flies, one has to walk ~ 6 blocks to get to Swami's beach access point. There are many beaches in the area- some of which offer easier access for elderly and those that might have a difficult time with stairs and hills. Moonlight Beach has the easiest access. Allergies? Occasionally our cat joins us when we are staying here. THe house is very clean- and have not had any problems- but just want potential renters to know ahead of time. Questions?
