Zillow and other home-search websites are perfect for scrolling at midnight… but they aren’t a strategy for buying a home in Northern Maine.

Homes in Presque Isle, Caribou, and Mapleton can still move quickly — especially the well-priced and updated. Zillow can show you photos, but it can’t tell you which homes will get multiple offers, which pockets hold long-term value, or which listings are coming soon but not online yet.

By 2020, that climbed to $129,000.

And this year? The average single-family home in Aroostook County / Northern Maine is about $175,000 (median)
