Aaron's career has always centered on relationships. He focuses on the Golden Rule: Treat others how you want to be treated. He combines this with his passion for land understanding it, managing it, and helping others see its full potential.
He began as a professional whitetail hunting guide, spending countless seasons in the field studying habitat, movement patterns, access, timber health, and land stewardship. In 2001, Aaron co-founded Illinois Trophy Outfitters in Calhoun County, Illinois, where he worked directly with landowners, negotiated leases, and developed long-term relationships built on trust and shared goals. These experiences taught him how to evaluate farms not just as acres on a map, but as living ecosystems with value far beyond the surface.
That foundation naturally led him deeper into land and recreational property. By 2015, he founded Monarch Rivers, a hunting outfitter in Pike and Calhoun Counties. Focusing on habitat development, property assessment, and the long-term potential of rural land, Aaron has spent extensive time walking farms, evaluating timber and food sources, analyzing access, and helping landowners plan improvements that benefit both wildlife and property value. This on the ground experience offers a perspective few agents have understanding what truly makes a property exceptional for hunting, recreation, and investment.
He graduated from Central Michigan University with a BAA in Entrepreneurship and minors in Marketing and Recreation. His education has helped him approach outfitting and land stewardship with both practical knowledge and a business mindset. Over the years, he has worked closely with landowners, farmers, conservation-minded buyers, and hunters alike, uniting their goals with the realities of land use and long term management.
