We had so much fun at our annual Puppy Plunge last evening! A few of our furry residents took the plunge and enjoyed some time in the pool, while everyone enjoyed a delicious menu of Walking the Dog Tacos and Puppy Chow (a.k.a. Muddy Buddies!) for dessert.

And we had some very special guests! The Carlisle Firefighters were conducting a drill at our new building, so we invited them over to the Clubhouse for tacos. They happily joined us and seemed to enjoy the food; and hopefully a little break from their busy evening!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun evening. We love getting together with our residents (and their pups!) and look forward to doing it again next year!

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today we celebrate the four-legged friends who make life just a little bit better!
Dogs have an amazing way of knowing when we need a cuddle, making us laugh when we least expect it, and greeting us like we’ve been gone for years… even if it was only 10 minutes.
They’re our walking buddies, couch companions, adventure partners, protectors, and most importantly, our family!
So today, give your pup an extra treat, an extra belly rub, or an extra-long walk and let them know just how loved they are!

FEATURE FRIDAY: The Cracked Pot Coffee Shop
This week we're shining the spotlight on The Cracked Pot Coffee Shop in Downtown Carlisle!
The Cracked Pot is so much more than a place to grab a great cup of coffee. This faith-based, nonprofit coffee shop employs, trains and mentors young adults who are aging out of the foster care system, helping them build the skills and confidence they need for independent living. Their program provides support in areas like financial literacy, housing, transportation, mental wellness and job skills.

And of course: Coffee! The Cracked Pot serves locally roasted Passenger Coffee along with breakfast, lunch and plenty of treats to enjoy in their warm and welcoming space.

Hello, August!

How did we get here already? It feels like summer just began, and now we're turning the calendar to August: the month that reminds us to soak up every last bit of sunshine.

For many families, back-to-school shopping is underway, calendars are starting to fill up, and those carefree summer days are slowly giving way to new routines. It's always a little bittersweet saying goodbye to summer, but there's something exciting about what's just around the corner.

Here's to making the most of these last weeks of summer and looking forward to everything fall has to offer- cooler evenings, football, pumpkin treats, colorful leaves, and cozy sweater weather.
