After 20 years of living and working in Baltimore, Maryland, Ian is happy to be back in his hometown of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He will now assist home buyers and sellers in both Maryland and Pennsylvania and has extensive knowledge for those hoping to relocate to either region. Ian began working full-time as a Realtor in 2017, but his passion for the business began long before that. His early exp
osure to real estate came from watching his father, a land surveyor, who invested in big tracts of property to subdivide and sell or occasionally to develop and sell. His father's love of buildings from the 18th century and artistic talent set him along a professional path that earned him a distinguished name in the industry for historic restoration and design work. Ian took notes while shadowing his father and even got his hands dirty conserving resources from historic buildings to repurpose for later projects. Then at the age of only 27, Ian purchased a historical property in Carlisle that became the first in his rental property business. With rental units located in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, Ian is eager to share his real estate investment knowledge with clients during their home buying journey. The contemporary city with a small-town vibe offers a variety of activities. From festivals, parades, auto shows, and diversity of restaurants, to outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, skiing and snowboarding, Ian is confident that there is something for everyone to appreciate about this location. Ian is eager to scour the area for your forever home or to help you sell the one that’s not quite right. He's happy to work with investors on single family homes or small multi-unit properties. Whatever your requirements, with his special combination of talents and the backing of Howard Hanna Real Estate, Ian can meet and exceed the expectations you have from a Realtor.
