Of the 392 housing markets studied, they found that 45 of those markets had a more than 50% chance of a price drop coming in the next year. The cooling U.S. housing market has seen the odds of a home price decline spike. At least on a regional level.

According to a Fortune Magazine study, 96% of housing markets in this country are "overvalued" based on local income levels and statistical demographics. Interesting read where you can check out various markets around the country. Many experts agree that the home price correction will not be a drastic falloff like the 2008 market...
