I will be attending the online webinar for the new RPA tomorrow, 9/24, from 9am to 1pm. I will not be available during this time. The cost was $75 for this course which features Jana Gardner, Associate Counsel of the California Association of REALTORS®. I sure hope my agents are signing up for a class before December!! You know who you are.... ;)

Do you know where I look first for seller info when not provided? Your listing contract. 85% of the time, no address, no phone, no email on page 5 for your seller. I call this a missed opportunity! Imagine if I could provide seller contact information to escrow for you!! :)

The Confirmation of Agency form has suddenly become the most popular, as agents are leaving off DRE #'s on their contracts. But now the challenge is trying to explain to the list side when they send me the AC form signed by the seller and still missing the Buyer's Brokerage Firm, license numbers and representation boxes checked, that this is not the correct way to do the form. Seller has already signed and therefore has not seen the buyer's agent Brokerage, DRE and representation. I'm exhausted from the effort of trying to explain this. Please don't send me a half completed Confirmation of Agency form already signed by your seller. You have defeated the purpose of the form. Anyone remember the good old days when nothing was ever written above a signature? Please don't send me a QS signed by the buyer that still needs escrow's signature either.
