There are days when work needs you, your family needs you, your marriage needs attention, the house needs something…and you look at everything you have to do and think, how am I supposed to get all of this done?

That’s when I have to remind myself:

I don’t have to do everything today.

Sometimes the answer isn’t to work harder or move faster. Sometimes it’s to stop for a minute, pray, decide what really needs you today and give yourself permission to let the rest wait.
