Well according to the latest statistics in north San Diego County, the sales have slowed, but prices remain steady. If layoffs are next on the horizon that could bring prices down. We have to wait and see, but I will keep you posted. Stay tuned!!

He was treated at a local hospital and is now home recovering. Speak the name of Jesus and His healing power over Pastor Matthew and his family.

Then Abraham bowed down to the ground, but he laughed to himself in disbelief. “How could I become a father at the age of 100?” he thought. “And how can Sarah have a baby when she is ninety years old?” Genesis 17:17 NLT

God promised Abraham that the generations would come through Abraham and Sarah. His response? He bowed low. But he laughed on the inside. How often do we do the same? We sing about God’s faithfulness, but do we really believe He’ll do the impossible in our situation? When the gap widens between what our outward “Christian” actions reflect and what our inward beliefs reveal, we must make note of it (but without condemnation). We often arrive here because we’re weary in the waiting or tired from battle. But we must not allow the gap to linger within us for very long. Reengage your faith today. Remember, God can do in a moment what takes us a lifetime to accomplish. And when faith awakens your heart and inspires your actions? Well, that’s the stuff of miracles.

Good reminder!

Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your descendants.” And Abram built an altar there and dedicated it to the Lord, who had appeared to him. Genesis 12:7 NLT

We have to let go of the old to lay hold of the new. We have to leave what’s comfortable if we want to experience God as our provider, our defender, and our way-maker. God called Abram away from everything he knew to a land God had not yet revealed. But God’s promise to Abram far outweighed his need to know every detail about the journey ahead. It’s the same for you and me. We are pilgrims, traveling to a most holy city. And God’s promise over us far outweighs our need to control every twist and turn. We’re on a need-to-know basis, and when we need to know, God will let us know! But this we do know: The land ahead is a good land. And our good God will ensure we make it to our new home safely. Will you pause today and build an altar of remembrance? Before you take another step, remember His faithfulness. Remember His goodness. It’ll strengthen you for the road ahead.
