One home in Carlsbad stood out this week, and the numbers show why.

We looked at 100 homes for sale in the area. This one earned 97 saves and 621 views on Zillow, and 85% more saves than the average of the homes we checked. That kind of attention is worth paying attention to.

Every week I go through the homes for sale in Encinitas and find the one buyers are paying the most attention to for its age. I call it the Deal of the Week.

This week's pick had 288 saves and 2,333 views on Zillow. To put that in perspective, the homes we checked averaged 77 saves. This home had 274% more than that average. Out of 99 homes I looked at, this one stood out.

Every week I go through the homes for sale in Encinitas and find the one that's getting the most buyer attention for a home its age. This week's pick stood out by a wide margin.

The homes we checked on Zillow averaged 76 saves. This home has 253 saves and 2,159 views. That's 231% more saves than the average. I'm not saying buyers are ready to make an offer. But that kind of attention is worth paying attention to.

One home in Carlsbad caught more eyes than the rest this week.

I looked at 184 homes for sale and tracked saves and views on Zillow. The homes we checked averaged 35 saves. This week's pick has 116, and 1,028 views to go with them. That's 236% more saves than the average. For its age group, it was the most saved home we found.

Saves and views measure attention. They don't tell us everything. But when a home pulls that kind of interest, it's worth knowing which one it is.

Every week I go through the homes for sale in San Marcos and find the one that's getting the most attention from buyers for its age. This week, one home stood out clearly.

It had 81 saves and 976 views on Zillow. Among the homes we checked, the average was 16 saves. This home had 413% more saves than that average. I looked at 103 homes for sale to find it.

Saves and views show attention. They don't tell us everything. But when a home pulls that kind of interest, it's worth knowing about.

Encinitas supply is still tight. That is the big takeaway from this month's numbers.

The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 2.9 months of supply in Encinitas for the three months ending July 31, 2026. Even with Freddie Mac putting the 30 year fixed rate at 7.28% on October 1, 2026, buyers here still do not have many homes to choose from. That helps explain why homes are still moving.

That said, not every part of Encinitas acts the same. Cardiff and Leucadia each have their own character and their own buyers. A home on one street can compete very differently from a home a few minutes away.
