TO MY FELLOW REAL ESTATE AGENTS!!! Its almost real estate safety month…..

Real Estate safety has been my greatest concern since the death of Beverly Carter. My dear childhood friend (SuzAnne), who was a personal friend of hers, messaged me about Beverly’s disappearance and reminded me to stay safe…. We learned a few days later that Beverly had been murdered after responding to a sign call. Here are just a few things to think about!

1. Do you have your cute professional picture on your signs? (Perpetrators love window shopping)
2. Do you sit open houses alone? (You are a sitting duck)
3. Do you park in the driveway for a showing or open house? (They will park behind you so you can’t drive away)
4. Do you open vacant houses for potential buyers that you don’t know and have never properly vetted? (Again… you are a sitting duck)
5. Do you know how to fight back if necessary? (Knowing this could make the difference between life and death)

PLEASE do yourself a favor and take a self defense course. Your life and wellbeing depend on it.

HUGE shoutout to Jennifer Horsburgh of Fidelity Home Warranty!!!! My clients AC broke a month or more ago, called the home warranty company, but wasn’t having the best luck with the service provider. They finally let me know and I sent ONE text and BAM…. Jennifer was ON IT!!! We had some back and forth texts since the unit was old and a new replacement was difficult to locate. The company reimbursed my clients for the portable AC unit they had purchased and as of 10 mins ago… my amazing clients have their new AC up and working and cooling down their entire house!!! I’ve had a hard time finding a home warranty company with GREAT customer service since my old rep left my old home warranty company that I wrote into every transaction.

THANK YOU JENNIFER!!! You have a cheerleader in this industry forever!!! You & Fidelity Home Warranty have definitely earned my business from here on!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
