Did you know we have a Blue Moon this weekend? A Rare Double Full Moon

On May 31, 2026, the world will witness a rare “Blue Moon” - the second full moon in a single calendar month.

Despite the name, the Moon won’t actually appear bright blue. It will look like a normal full moon with its beautiful natural glow.

This rare lunar event happens only once every 2–3 years, which is why the phrase “once in a blue moon” exists.

The best time to watch it is after sunset on May 30–31, depending on your location.

Did you know?
The May 2026 Blue Moon is also a Micromoon, meaning the Moon will appear slightly smaller because it’s farther from Earth than usual. 🌌
