We’ve officially broken ground on Landmark Design Group’s latest build, and the foundation is now in place. While it may be one of the first stages of construction, it’s also one of the most important—providing the strength, stability, and precision everything else depends on.

At Landmark, quality isn’t something we add at the end. It’s built into every detail from the ground up.

We’re excited to watch this home take shape and share the progress along the way.

Pool House Progress Update! 🏡✨

The finishes are going in and this custom pool house is showing off its personality. Cabinetry, flooring, interior doors and trim are installed, drywall is complete, and the exterior siding is finished and painted.

From the cedar details to the interior finishes, every element was thoughtfully selected to create a pool house designed for entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying for years to come.

Flooded home? Safety comes first.

Before entering or beginning cleanup:

- Wait until local officials say the area is safe.
- Check from outside for damaged utilities, foundation cracks, and sagging floors or ceilings.
- Never touch an electrical panel, switch, or appliance while standing in water.
-If you smell gas or hear hissing, leave immediately and contact emergency authorities.
- Keep children and pets away from floodwater and damaged areas.

Your home can be repaired or rebuilt. Your safety cannot be replaced.

⚠️ WATCH OUT FOR HOME RECOVERY SCAMMERS

Storm cleanup draws out bad actors who prey on stressed homeowners. Protect yourself and your property from deceptive door-to-door sales and high-pressure tactics.

🚨 RED FLAGS TO WATCH FOR:
- "FEMA or insurance will cover everything" — Be wary of anyone guaranteeing full coverage upfront.
- Pressure to sign immediately — Never sign on the spot to "hold your place in line."
- Offers to waive your deductible — Under Indiana law, it is illegal for contractors to pay or rebate your insurance deductible.
- Demands for cash or large upfront payments — Never pay the full amount before work starts.

🛡️ PROTECT YOURSELF:
- Get everything in writing: Indiana law requires a detailed written contract for repairs over $150, including dates, total cost, and contractor contact info.
- Take 3 days to think: You generally have 3 business days to cancel a signed home improvement contract without penalty.
- Hold final payment: Do not pay the final balance until all work is fully completed and inspected.

🏡 Pool House Progress Update! 🚧✨

Another major milestone is complete!

✅ Roofing finished�
✅ Windows & exterior doors installed�
✅ Electrical & mechanical rough-ins complete�
✅ Siding and exterior trim are now underway.

One feature we're especially excited about is the covered porch, featuring exposed tongue-and-groove cedar ceilings and cedar-wrapped trusses for a timeless outdoor living space.

We're getting closer every week—stay tuned!

Progress continues on our pool house project as we officially begin going vertical! This week, rough framing got underway, marking an exciting milestone as the structure starts to take shape.

While framing may seem straightforward, every phase of construction requires careful oversight and attention to detail. Our team is closely monitoring the work to ensure it aligns with the approved plans, meets quality standards, and sets the foundation for the next stages of construction.

Last week marked a major milestone for Dan and Darlene Mccann’s pool house project. Our team completed the sanitary sewer installation, poured the concrete slab, and finished preparing the site for the next phase of construction.

Now the exciting part begins — framing is underway! It’s always rewarding to see months of planning and hard work start to take shape as a vision becomes a reality.
