This is the first and MOST IMPORTANT step when purchasing a home. Obtaining a preapproval is what you want BEFORE you go house hunting. Let me explain...

🧐 A mortgage broker will find the best lender package for you based on your information. They will VERIFY with that lender and obtain a pre-approval for a specific amount to borrow in the form of a letter that will be provided to me, your Realtor. This letter is a critical part of getting your offer accepted with minimal surprises.

A pre-qualification does not include the verification component and either won't hold as much weight in an offer or will often be inaccurate in your payment amounts.
