Renting vs Buying, a common debate. However recently with rents rising more people are considering owning. Even with home prices rising, in most areas, owning is still more affordable. I'd look at homeownership as an investment. That only is a bigger perk over renting.

The numbers don't lie. As we continue to have record breaking years in home vaules, current homeowners rejoice at gained equity. While buyers struggle with affordability hurdles. The market is projecting for growth to slow over the next year. However, new hurdles will appear with economic growth and inflation. I've mentioned before that we will most likely see an increase in mortgage rates adding to the rush to lock in low rates.

A plan is the best way to get started. Make sure you are consulting with a Realtor and Mortgage professional.
