Every summer, I watch agents try to outwork the season.

It doesn't work.

This was a great reminder from WWYS.

Just because a seller wants a certain price does not mean the market will give it to them.

We can choose a goal.
We can choose a strategy.
We can choose where we hope to land.

But the market is what tells us if we are right or wrong.

And buyers determine value.

That is why pricing conversations have to be rooted in data, not emotion.

This was such a good conversation during WWYS with one of our attendees and a real seller situation.

When a seller will not reduce, it is not always just about the number.

You have to look at readiness, willingness, motivation, and what the market is actually showing you.

If buyers are looking online but not choosing to come inside, the market is telling you something.

And sometimes the most helpful thing you can say is the honest thing:

The market is not accepting the house right now.

Now we have to decide what needs to change.

If your week keeps filling up, but your business still feels like it’s not moving the way you want, it may be time to look at what your calendar is actually protecting.

Goals matter.
Numbers matter.
Priorities matter.

But they only change your business when they have a place in your week.

That’s the CEO reset.

Because at the end of the day, you are running a business. Don't let it run you.
