A great example of selling in the winter...I decided to put my home on the market and wanted it listed before spring, because inventory is low. My husband and I have worked countless hours for the past two weeks and it was finally ready this past Friday(yesterday). I wanted to wait until Saturday(today) before having any showings, because we needed to make a couple of trips to storage and had a couple of items to finish up. I received a call Friday (yesterday) from an agent asking me to let them in early. They have been looking and were getting ready to make an offer on a house in a school district they did not want. So Mike and I kicked it into gear and let them in Friday afternoon. I had an offer by Friday evening! Now as most of us in Real Estate know...it's not over until it closes...but this could be you next! My business partner Christy was amazing with the staging...She is very talented in that area.
