***READ THIS ARTICLE***
This article is by far the best synopsis I have seen regarding the current state & direction of the housing market.

It clarifies the data, rather than trying to convert it all into sensational, fear invoking headlines & highlights.

If you are concerned about the floor dropping out on home prices & days of doom and gloom ahead, that’s due to lack on good data and viewing things through the lenses of the early 2000’s housing & financial crisis.

There is NO crash coming for housing! Zip. Zero. Zilch. It isn’t happening.

A slowing in the pace of appreciation is NOT a reduction in prices & values. We NEED a slower pace of appreciation, because what we all witnessed the past two years, especially in 2021, is not sustainable. That doesn’t mean prices/values are anywhere near threatening to depreciate.

Here’s the link to the full artice. Seriously, read it.

Fresh example of misleading advertisements for mortgage rates, as I am up for the last of the games tonight (or this AM).

Ad seen 12:15 AM, Saturday 3/26…total garbage, especially after today being another huge move (worsening) for mortgage bonds/rates. Look at the “fine print” here. More than just questionable ethics, there are likely some actual legal disclosure shortcomings here!

Again…do you really want to start your mortgage/home buying process by being misled?

Mortgage rates have risen steadily this year, especially over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, it seems like deceptive advertising from sources like Lending Tree and Bankrate are growing ever more untruthful.

Remember, these are LEAD generating companies! They don’t make money providing reliable data. They make money to peak interest & put lenders in contact with you to sell you on something!

The rates here are NOT accurate, current rates and THEY RUN THESE ADS KNOWINGLY WITH OUTDATED & UNREALISTIC INFORMATION! (The images shown are from ads on 3/24/2022.)

Good read on the dynamics of our current market & any concerns about a "bubble".

This article has a great key point that loose lending standards were fueling an inflated market, which created a bubble in the 2000’s.

In comparison, today, we have much more prudent lending standards. It is truly the supply/demand dynamic, a pillar of economic standards, that is fueling the gains in value in our market.

With rates still historically low and house prices poised to continue to rise, NOW is still a great time to buy.

With home prices rising again this year, some are concerned that we may be repeating the 2006 housing bubble that caused families so much pain when it collapsed. Today’s market is quite different than the bubble market of twelve years ago. There are four key metrics that explain why:
