ands where he attended Kalani High School then the University of Hawaii. Jim’s extensive knowledge of competitive tennis as a nationally ranked junior, collegiate player, professionally ranked player, and business management skills, provided a natural platform within Travel Industry Management to excel as a tennis director for Sheraton Hotels in the Pacific Rim for multiple tennis facilities throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Upon moving to the Monterey Peninsula in 1994 Jim was hired by Konica-Minolta as sales agent to sell the suite of Konica-Minolta office automation hardware and software. Jim quickly rose as a top producing sales agent and within the first 2 years he was promoted to Sales Manager for the Tri-County area covering the Monterey, Santa Cruz and Hollister counties. After 9 years of managing accounts for Konica-Minlota and Hewlett Packard products Jim transitioned his sales management skills to the dynamic business of real estate. In 2003 Jim joined the ranks of The Mitchell Group/Sotheby’s International Realty, it was the natural choice, with the mix of highly skilled real estate professionals, for Jim to nurture the skills for an outstanding career in real estate. After 2 years of diligent practice Jim rose to become the #1 agent for The Mitchell Group/Sotheby’s Carmel Valley office, and in his 3rd year was recognized as the 5th top producing agent company wide. In 2011 Jim was hired by Coldwell Banker, Jim’s consistency throughout his 6 years with the company earned him the recognition of being the top producing sales agent for Coldwell Banker’s Pebble Beach office, with over $40,000,000 in annual sales, and the distinction of being an International President’s Premiere agent.
