Plastic wrap clings to itself
SOLUTION: Store the plastic wrap in the refrigerator. The cool temperature helps the wrap stay firm, making it easier to pull out and unfurl without bunching up or sticking to itself. Also smart: If plastic wrap keeps clinging once you've pulled off a piece, lightly mist the surface of the bowl or container with a little water before covering it. The moisture helps neutralize static and gives the wrap something smooth to grab onto, so it sticks to the rim instead of clinging to itself.

Another good reason to go to the dentist
It can help keep blood sugar steady, suggest researchers in the UK. They checked bloodwork in people with a tooth infection before and after treatment and found that subjects had a lower cholesterol within six months of resolving the issue and lower blood sugar levels after two years. Scientists say oral infections can raise inflammation, disrupt metabolism, but treat the problem may help bring levels back into balance.

Freezer burn ruins ice cream
SOLUTION:
Store your ice cream container upside down in the freezer to ward off this food-storage nuisance. Why it works: Ice crystals form when melted ice cream refreezes and air gets inside the container: When stored right-side up, that melted layer sits on top-right where air hits it-so it refreezes into icy crystals. Turning the container upside down lets that melted portion settle against the lid instead. as it refreezes, it creates a tighter seal that limits air exposure-helping prevent freezer burn and keeping the texture smooth.
