Have a showing today in Blount Co. today scheduled with an outside agent. Had 2 showings with one being for a 4th time on Two Lakes Plantation. We have an auction scheduled in Clay Co., Ms on March 5th. The amount of interest we've had with people inquiring and them discussing/considering pre-auction offers the 1st 10 days has been interesting since auction information was announced. I had a very satisfying closing yesterday in Mississippi. I had a feeling and had been told this was a perfect fit for this family. Upon entering the attorney's office for this closing, I was immediately impressed with their 8-10 year old son. The young man stood up, looked me in the eye and shook hands. Yes, he has been raised right was my thought. He was excited about their new farm and place to call home. During the closing he talked about hunting and their new farm. Afterwards, the family and their agent went outside while listing agent and I stayed behind a few minutes. When listing agent and I walked out the young man came up to me and hugged me and asked me to come see their new farm. I told the young man with his parent's permission that I'd do better than that as I'd bring a side by side and he could show me their farm. I meant every word of it too as I'll do exactly as I told that young man soon! This is in my top 2 real estate closings of all time as I know a good family got the right farm and homeplace to be a build on, enjoy it for years to come, and build memories for a lifetime!!!!
