We've been busy the last two months with some our favorite events including the Annual NCBOR Golf Tournament ⛳️, WMBOR Heart of Fall Festival, UWG Economic Forecast Breakfast and the WMBOR Affiliates Expo. Shout out to our amazing Real Estate and Business Professionals in the West GA area. We love being a part of these communities!

2023 West Metro Board of Realtors Affiliates Tradeshow. By far one of our favorites events of the year! We had a blast playing guess how many marshmallows and showing thanks to all of the amazing real estate professionals from the West GA area. Our region is surely blessed with some fine people! Special shout out to Stacey Wylie for guessing the closest to the number of marshmallows in the jar and winning those super popular Stanley tumblers. She guessed 669 and there were 672. That's impressive!!!

2023 West Georgia Economic Update: We are still very much in a seller's market with high demand, low inventory and high prices. Inflation has eased but we won't be back at 4% mortgage rates anytime soon. Wages and employment in construction are both on the rise due to lack of new inventory. Monthly permits for new builds are rising but costs and rates are as well. Lumber prices have decreased some but are offset by wage increases. Active listings are tracking with the state as a whole at a slight uptick after a recent decline in activity.

As always it was a pleasure to be in attendance at UWG's annual Forecast Breakfast. Thanks for the insights into our housing market from Dr. Smith and this year's guest speaker Ryan James Boyle, VP and Senior Economist with Northern Trust.

We had a blast hosting the putting contest at the 2023 NCBOR Golf Tournament. Thanks to all who stopped by to chat with us! Congrats to Blake Oxenreider on winning the putt off!
