Progress continues across the project as crews move steadily through both interior and exterior work. Permanent power has been brought to the building, painters are making their way through the upper floors, interior trim installation is progressing, and plumbers have begun setting water heaters. HVAC crews are working to bring air conditioning online, creating the conditions needed for upcoming flooring installation, while electricians remain active throughout the building.

Outside, siding installation continues on the north elevation, site crews are backfilling curbs, and concrete work is scheduled to resume soon. Another exciting milestone is the arrival of the elevator's final shipment, with installation set to begin as the elevator contractor mobilizes on site. Each week brings the project another step closer to completion as multiple trades continue making excellent progress.

Over the past month, construction has continued to progress steadily as the project moves through key interior and exterior milestones. Drywall work has continued on multiple levels, including completion of hanging activities on the second floor and ongoing drywall installation on the third floor.

Additional site and building improvements are moving forward, including preparations for the southwest approach, which has been formed and is ready for concrete placement. Interior finishes are also beginning to take shape, with painting underway on the second floor and gypcrete flooring scheduled and progressing on upper levels.

Looking ahead, stone veneer installation is approaching, and cabinet deliveries are anticipated in the coming weeks as the project transitions further into the finish stage.

The Residence at Carter Lake continues to move in the right direction as exterior work gains momentum and the building’s overall presence continues to come to life. Crews have been making steady progress on the outside, with visible improvements enhancing the look and feel of the property and bringing more definition to the finished product. Despite some weather impacts, the team has remained focused on keeping work areas active and pushing forward wherever possible to maintain progress across the site.

Inside the building, preparations are underway for key upcoming steps that will continue to drive the project forward. A second-floor MEP inspection is approaching, which will help clear the way for continued interior buildout, including soffit installation and insulation work. With multiple trades working in sync and maintaining a strong pace, the project continues to move forward with consistency as each phase builds toward completion.

Last week we made great progress as framing continues to take shape throughout the building. Interior wall framing is well underway, with unit layouts becoming clearly defined and rooms starting to come together. MEP rough-in is also progressing, with visible installation of electrical wiring, plumbing lines, and HVAC ductwork overhead. The coordination between trades is showing as systems are being routed efficiently through the framing, setting us up well for the next phase. Overall, the building is really starting to feel like a finished space as structure and systems come together.

This week, crews will continue advancing framing and rough-in work across additional areas of the building. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations will keep progressing, with a focus on completing rough-ins so we can transition into insulation and drywall in the near future. Momentum on site remains strong, and we’re continuing to see steady, visible progress each day.

Framing is substantially complete on the three-story building, including roof trusses, interior partitions, and stair assemblies. Exterior ZIP sheathing has been installed, and window openings are framed, with window deliveries on site and staged for installation. Steel beams and structural elements are in place at larger common areas. Despite winter weather conditions, exterior work continues as site conditions allow, and the project is progressing into the dry-in phase.
