Why should you get a Pre Drywall Inspection?

Because issues like these would not have been seen when the walls have been installed.

-The anchor bolts were not secured with nuts and washer to ensure the framing of the home was secure.
-A panel behind a bathtub was not installed and fire blocked. This prevents fires from accessing different levels of your house and is a must!
- Do you ever wonder why you can feel a draft around your windows and door? This could be the problem. The space between the framing and windows should be sealed to prevent air infiltration, moisture intrusion and heat transfer.

You have to follow the water!!!!

From the first photo you would think that the chimney cap is rusted and holding water. It is rarely the cases especially if the staining is that significant on the siding. As we continued the inspection, we found staining and decay on the sheathing inside the attic and continuing all the way to the subfloor in the crawl space.

You can always trust that our inspectors will find these issue during your inspection.

Things you should know when it comes to a Home Inspection Report:

A previous inspection conducted for a different person cannot be relied upon for your purchase. The inspector’s liability and duty of care extend only to the person who requested the inspection and report.

DON'T leave it to chance when a pre-listing report was left for you by the seller. Make sure you are protected and have a direct legal claim regarding the properties condition and schedule a home inspection in your own name!

💦We don’t always get to inspect a house during the pouring rain so take advantage of the rainstorm and check your gutters! ⚠️Although we may be able to see indications of a blockage, build-up, etc. that typically means it has been there for some time. Take a look outside now and see if your gutters are !
